Actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut jet off to Delhi from Chandigarh airport on Thursday morning. The MP-elect from Mandi had an altercation with an official from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). As reported by the Hindustan Times, the incident took place at the security check. According to the media publication, the actress-filmmaker was slapped for pushing a security personnel and refusing to put her phone in the tray during security check. She reportedly left for Delhi at 3 pm by a Vistara flight. 

India Today in another report stated that the 37-year-old actress claimed that she the CISF official Kulwinder Kaur, who was posted at the curtain area argued with her and slapped her. Post arriving in Delhi, Ranaut met CISF Director General Nina Singh along with other senior officials and explained the entire encounter to them. The video of the incident has now gone viral on social media, with the netizens slamming the CISF official for her actions. It is to be noted according to the netizens, the altercation took place after Kaur, unhappy with the Manikarnika actress calling the protesting farmers Khalistani’s, lashed out at her. Netizens are demanding strict action against the official.
